Four ways to
change a house.

More room may mean an addition.
It may mean using the room you have.

Adding space

An addition needs a considered transition into the existing home. A basement can become an extension of it; “Opening the bottom of the stairs” is one of their examples.

“We don't want the addition to appear as an 'afterthought.'”

For a deck, the brief is direct: “Add outdoor living space.”

Repairs

Roof replacements, door and window replacements, and water damage are all part of the work.

“Roof replacements”

Changing existing spaces

More storage, an updated look or a better work flow. A kitchen layout can respond to your cooking style; a home office has its own demands.

“Creatively design a new layout effectively using the existing space.”

Changing functionality

A porch can become a three or four season room. Removing a wall can open a kitchen into the dining room. Their examples include a dinette becoming a powder room and a hallway becoming a mudroom.

“really any room can become another type of room”

John and Jane Boutelle

Our experience with Home Works Remodeling was fabulous! Working with the staff of Home Works far exceeded our expectations. Each member of the Home Works Remodeling staff was knowledgeable and professional. The true test of a company is how it handles the inevitable problems that occur during a remodel. Whether large or small, each issue was resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. We have recommended Home Works Remodeling to many of our friends already and will continue to do so in the future.

When we contemplated an addition to our house, Tom Johnson sat down with us and listened carefully to our ideas. He quickly grasped what we wanted to do, and was open to our preferences in matters of design and energy conservation. The work went forward on a timely basis. We were impressed with the craftsmanship evident during the construction. The finished project beautifully fulfilled our intention and we are highly satisfied the result. Beyond that, Tom has remained available to answer our questions and make suggestion on the maintenance of our home.
Jackson and Virginia Tiffany
Home Works was a true partner in our basement remodeling project. They brought ideas, expertise, skill, and enthusiasm to the job every day. They communicated clearly with us. They did what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it, for the price they'd quoted. The results exceeded our expectations, and the whole process was painless for us. We're happy we discovered Home Works Remodeling and urge you to consider them for your project.
John and Jane Boutelle
Every time I walk into my master bathroom I thank Home Works Remodeling for helping make my idea of a dream bathroom become reality.
Suzanne Hawver
Thank you for the great job Home Works did remodeling our upstairs. The new rooms are a great addition, the open stairway looks great, and the insulation, siding, and extended roof make it like a new home. We especially appreciated your dedication to getting the job done the way we wanted, in spite of some engineering challenges and weather interruptions. You kept us advised of the schedule and gave us sound advice at many points along the way. All of these things were welcome additions to the basic fact that your work on our home was of the highest quality. We have happily recommended Home Works to our friends and neighbors and will call on you for our next project.

The work behind
the finished room.

Home Works Remodeling partners with Home Performance with ENERGY STAR. Homeowners who choose an evaluation receive an independent consultant's third-party written report of recommended solutions before work.

After the work, the same consultant performs a post-performance evaluation. Their published note: “provided at no additional cost”. Homeowners buying electricity or natural gas from participating utilities may be eligible for Homeowners Rewards cash back.
